Children’s portraiture is a big part of what we do.  This young man came in to Portraits Today Studios to get his picture made in the tuxedo he rented for a wedding on Saturday. (Okay, so it was really mom who thought she needed some photos to remind herself of how darned cute he looks in a tux.)  Anyway, here are three portraits we made for him and his mommy.

Portraits Today Studios is located in Olathe, Kansas about 3/4 of a mile east of I-35.  We are a family portrait studio.  We photograph plenty of newborns and children and families.  If you take a minute to explore our website you will see a Galleries tab that will display some of our work in several different categories.  We have special pages devoted to Senior Portraits, Kansas City Sports and Dance photography and a Baby’s First Year Photo Club.

Skooter Trash Photo Shoot

A  rock band by the name of Skooter Trash came in for a photo shoot on Sunday.  They hail from Gardner, Kansas and play all over the KC area.  If you see them while your out let me know how they sound.  I’m gonna have to go check’em out.

Olathe Chick-fil-A Father Son Camp-out

Here at Portraits Today Studios we really appreciate the unique relationship we have with the Olathe Chick-fil-A.  We love their corporate values and frankly, we try to emulate them.  You should also know that PTS loves to let people around Olathe and Kansas City know what is going on that may be of interest to our customers and readers.  So, without further build up. :)

Portraits Today Studios will be there throughout various times of the camp out to photograph the happenings.  It should be a lot of fun.  And it’s been rumored there will be some Chick-fil-A corporate big wigs there.  I won’t spill all the beans.   I’ll leave that to Olathe’s Chick-fil-A to give the details should they choose to do so.  But is should be fun.

Senior Pictures for Blue Valley Student

We recently did some senior pictures for a Blue Valley student who lives in Overland Park.  We did more than a few of the portraits here in our portrait studios and then we went to a local park here in Olathe for a few outdoor shots.  Sure, we could have driven to a park in Overland Park…but the Olathe park was closer. :)  And it has some nice backgrounds.  But I digress, again.
