Digital Photography Classes – Kansas City Photo Coach – We get asked all the time to help people take better pictures.  And Chris really enjoys teaching photography.  So we have decided to set up a schedule of photography courses that you can take if you so desire and if it fits in your schedule.  Our photography classes and coaching are designed to be informative, very much hands on and fun.  Always fun.  The Moms Camera Classes seem to be very well received and we look forward to doing many of those here in 2011.

One Hour Photo Lab – We have a professional photo printer on site and we can print your pictures from your camera here in one hour or less on most occasions.  Should you need lab services that we cannot do we are happy to get those done for you.  You know, things like huge posters or dog tags or one fold cards.  In house we can do your standard 4×6 prints up to 10×30, wallets and more.  And all at very competitive prices.

Visit Our Photography Store – Like so many people with websites we decided to make a virtual photography store where you could purchase some of our favorite Canon and Nikon cameras along with some miscellaneous photography items you could probably use.  We utilize Amazon’s services so you know you’ll get great service at great prices.  Hey, you utilize someone’s website, why not ours?

Passport Photos
Photos for your Passport, I.D., Visa, Immigration and Citizenship needs.
There is no appointment necessary for you to come in for a passport photo here in our Olathe, Kansas studios.  We will get to you soon after you arrive and we’ll take a two or three shots for your passport or work visa.  We are familiar with the dimensions for your United States passport.  Should you have requirements for a work visa photo, a work I.D., job application or foreign passport just bring in the specs and we can do it for you. Or we can see if we can find the specs on google.

From start to finish you can expect your passport photo in your hands in about fifteen to twenty minutes, or so.  They are ready almost instantly after you say “print.”  Charges range from $12.95 (US Passports) to $14.95 depending on specifications.

1 Hour Digital Processing
PTS lab services is a little secret we’d like to make more well known.  We can print your digital images from tiny, tiny print size to wallets to 8″ x 10″ to 10″ x 36″.  We also offer “outlab” services up to 24″ x 36″.  (See our PTS Lab Services web page for some pricing details.)

Most lab photo lab orders are ready in an hour.  Sometimes, while you wait.  We can handle simple prints from your digital camera and we can also work with raw or .jpg files for pro-work.

Professional photographers should call for details on us processing your professional photo prints.  You can bring your files in or your can ftp them to us and we’ll ship them back to you.

Today Portraits Today Studios is announcing our new PTS Lab Services for shutterbugs, everyday shooters, and even the professional photographer looking for a lab that will print the pictures that day just the way they want. 

What we can do:

Fully customizable photo printing from photos sizes smaller than wallets all the way up to 10″ x 30″ in house.  For specialty items  like photo mugs, multi-page calendars and prints larger than 10″ x 30″ we can offer full outlab photo services with as quick a turn-around as anyone. 

Want custom cropping?  We can do that.  Want borders?  We can do that.  Have special requests to remove a subject, fix some facial blemishes or whatever?  Chances are we can do that. 

Most orders can be completed in one hour. 

What we cannot do:

Print 4x6s for only $0.19 each.  This is not a loss leader for us.  But we are being more than fair.  Many professional photo labs charge much more than we do.  Feel free to go to our PTS Lab Services page to get a break down of our pricing including 4x6s from $0.35 each to 8x10s for only $3.50 each.
