Valentine’s Day Pictures and Our New Special

We had a very busy Saturday of taking Valentine’s pictures for residents from all around Kansas City. We had a little fun. Ate a little chocolate and gave many of the kids little heart suckers. Do you still need some valentine portraits for your hunny?

By the way, we’ve come out with our Spring Special. Two 8x10s, two 5x7s and Eight wallets of one pose for $18.95*, you pick the pose. (*Price is honored with any other purchase. Purchase only the Spring Special and it’s still a very reasonable $34.95.) And as an added bonus we will email you a web-sized image for easy posting on facebook.

We’ve also added a couple new packages to our line-up. Our new Green Star portrait package is 3 sheets for only $40.00. And our new Platinum Star portrait package is $155.00 with all sorts of goodies, a 16×20 and 10 portrait sheets. As always, each portrait sheet can be a different pose, if you like. Holiday Cards At Olathe Portraits Today Studios

Shown here is but one of the many, many holiday cards we offer at our Olathe Portraits Today Studios. (The family shown has had the names changed to protect their identities.) We have the same card templates that we had last year for the Holidays and we’ve added many more.

As a side note, we’ve also added several template for invitations and birth announcements as well.

These holiday cards, birth announcements and invitations come in handy size of 4″ x 8″ and are really sharp looking. We can add text to your favorite photo and, within reason, even do very small customizations on the invitations and birth announcements.

Our pricing for our holiday cards, birth announcements and invitations runs $25.00 for 20, or $110 for 100 cards. Ordered individually these beautiful, fun cards/announcements are priced at $1.50 each. Prices include any minor touch-ups and/or customizations as well as properly sized envelopes.

Most of you have grown used to being able to pick up your professional portraits within twenty minutes of placing your order here at Portraits Today Studios. The holiday cards take a little longer to print. Depending on the amount of business we have and the size of your order we may have to have you come back after an hour, maybe two, once you place your order. But either way, 99% of the time you can still pick up the same day.

And guess what!?! From today until November 30 any holiday cards, invitations and/or birth announcements that are ordered will be given a 15% discount if you ask. All you have to do is ask! This special will definitely end November 30. So hurry to book your holiday portraits today.

Portraits Today Studios in Olathe, Kansas is perfectly situated to serve the residents of Olathe, Overland Park, Gardner, Lenexa and beyond. Conveniently located on the SW corner of Murlen & Santa Fe we are just minutes from most residents of southern Johnson County. Family photography is a big part of what we do. And we would like to show you some portraits we did very recently.

This Olathe family came in for their yearly family portrait just yesterday. They always like to get in during the month of October to help beat the Christmas rush for family pictures. They are a neat family. And the daughter is someone I coach in soccer. She’s quite the little defender. But I digress….

We like to have fun here at this little Olathe portrait studio. As evidence we present you the Goofy Family Portrait that we love to do during the holiday seasons. We usually just give you a free 8×10 of the Goofy Family Portrait. The kids love it. And honestly, I think a lot of the parents and grandparents do, as well. In fact, we’ve had many people come back in for extras!

Family Photography: Kansas City’s Portraits Today Studios

Family photography is an important part of Portraits Today Studios‘ business here in suburban Kansas City. Yet, for some reason as I look through these pages and our promo materials I see that we don’t give too many examples. Well, shame on us! Here are two examples from just this week.

Generally when we are looking to put together a good family portrait we’ll do several poses; formal, informal and just plain crazy. By far the most popular with family photography customers are the informal poses. Many will go ahead and buy a crazy photo for the memories. And formal, with today’s modern lifestyle here in the Heartland, seems to be falling more and more by the wayside. At least with our customers here at Portraits Today Studios.

And we photograph families of all kinds. Foster parents love to get lasting memories of the children that become a part of their lives, even for a short time. When relatives are in town is another popular time to book us for a family portrait. PTS can be flexible to meet your needs.
