We want to take a moment and let you know about a new website we are soft-launching.  No, it’s not done yet.  But we are beginning to post the site so we thought you might like to go on over to take a look around and maybe even subscribe.  The photography tips website is going to discuss all things photography from the very basics to how to run a profitable portrait studio.  We’d love to have you join us if you have more than just a passing interest in photography.

Valentine’s Day Special – See the promo pic for the details of our Valentine’s Day Special that begins this weekend.  We know it’s a little early, but people have already started requesting!

Baby Chicks & Bunny Pictures will be returning for the third straight year here at PTS.  The chicks usually hatch in the beginning of March.  Easter comes early this year on April 8.  Based on previous years, you are going to want to book your appointments early to be sure you get a slot.  It gets crazy in here and is a great deal of fun.  Slots fill quickly.  But don’t book before the first weekend of March because we want to make sure the baby chicks are here!

Portraits in the Park will be returning in April/May and again in September/October.

Princess & Fairies Portraits will be returning in May.  Details and weekend to follow.

Firefighter Days will be returning in May.  Expect a fun little addition here!

What We Are Still Working On
Rock ‘n’ Roll Portraits, Skateboarding action shots at the local skate park and a few more exciting concepts.

• Limited to the first three babies that we  have booked.  So this could end on January 3 or February 28th.  This offer is good until we book those three babies!

Also, effective immediately Sunday hours revert back to “By appointment only.”  We are happy to come in if you need Sunday hours, but we aren’t “open” Sundays in January and February.

We have our Basics Class that really starts at the beginning.  We try not to get too technical but we do go in to the aperture setting quite a bit.  We show you how to get your camera off the green box or the P setting and how to start taking control of your pictures.

We have a Photoshop Elements Class which is quickly evolving in to a basic photo editing class.  With some of the free resources online like Picnik it’s hard to justify spending $90 on Elements.
