One year ago today Portraits Today Studios opened. Yep. That’s right. On November 1, 2008 we opened our doors for the first time and put a banner out on Sante Fe. We had one couple come in that day, just on a lark. Their photo still hangs by our cash register.
Over our first year there have been times when I felt we would be an instant success. And other times when I wondered if we would be doomed for failure. Opening and operating a business causes you to be hopeful, doubtful and stressed. We’ve met some fantastic people, had our little challenges and depended greatly on the kindness of happy customers who told their family and friends about us. And for that we are grateful to each and every one of you.
Let me say “THANK YOU” to each and every customer we have had the honor to serve these last twelve months. We have a dream to be the best portrait studio in the entire Johnson County area when it comes to quality, affordability and fun. Whenever you have comments or suggestions we are open to hearing from you. After all, it’s you we serve.
