Chick-fil-A of Olathe Hosts First Annual Teacher of the Year Awards

Olathe has a really special Chick-fil-A.  Regular readers of this website and visitors of the Olathe Chick-fil-A know that we’ve done events there before involving Harvest Festival costume parties and Daddy Daughter Date Night Events.  This time, CFA hosted the Olathe Teacher of the Year Awards.  And let me say, a great time was had by all!

There was a street festival atmosphere.  Plenty to do.  Plenty to eat.  Best Buy was giving away a Wii game system.  KLOVE radio was there.  And then the teachers all arrived in school buses (figures, right?) and the awards began.  Each Teacher of the Year was giving a plaque to signify their accomplishments.

After the awards were given the teachers got to mingle with their guests, families and students.  Then it was inside where there was plenty of free food to be had. More awards were given.  Check out what the #1 Teacher of the Year was awarded by our local Wal-Mart!  The picture tells the story.

Half Price Books, Best Buy, Green Lantern Car Wash, KC Action Inflatables, Bank Midwest and of course Portraits Today Studios all participated in the event. (Hope I didn’t forget anyone!)  And I think I speak for everyone when I say we were were happy to do it.

Congratulations to the teachers. You deserve it!
